The jacket of the Danish Civilforsvaret was intended to be part of the uniform of the civil defense organization. Civilforsvaret was created to coordinate the response to emergencies and crisis situations, providing assistance and support to the population during natural disasters, military attacks or other emergency situations. The jackets and uniform as a whole were worn by members of the organization during civil protection and rescue operations.
